For years Nena has worked in high profile emergency environments in the United Nations, mobilizing resources from governments and the private sector for humanitarian aid and development programs in Mali, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Lebanon (for the Syria crisis). She has the ability to lead large teams and work quickly and calmly in stressful environments.
She has written billion-dollar resource mobilization/investment strategies and has handled donor portfolios worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
Her expertise is in imparting knowledge on complex topics to external audiences and engaging in quiet diplomacy to attain organizational goals.
